John was born about 1460 in Coughton,Warwick,England. John's father was Thomas Throckmorton Sir and his mother was Margaret Olney. His paternal grandparents were John Throckmorton Sir and Eleanor Spiney; his maternal grandfather was Robert Olney Sir. He was an only child. He died before 1510.-
