Sophie, Abelsdotter Queen of was born about 1240 in Of Roskilde,Kobenhavn,Denmark.  Sophie, Abelsdotter Queen of's father was Abel King of DENMARK and her mother was Mathilde of Holstein Countess.  Her paternal grandparents were Valdemar II "Sejr" King Of Denmark and Berengaria Princess of Portugal; her maternal grandparents were Adolf IV of Holstein Count and Hedwig Von der Lippe.  She was an only child.  She died after 1284.
