Alain I De was born about 1067 in Of,Guilliiers,Morbihan,France. Alain I De's father was Eudon I De Rohan and his mother was Anne De Leon. His paternal grandfather was Joscelin De Rohan. He had three brothers named Josselin II De, Bernard De and Geoffroy De. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died before 1128.
