Margareta of was born in 1213. Margareta of's father was Earl Skuli of Oslo and her mother was Ingeborg of Oslo. Her paternal grandparents were Earl Baard of Birkbein and Ragndid of Birkbein. She had a brother and two sisters, named Earl Peter of, Ingerid of and Ragnrid of. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 57 in 1270.-
