Jean Lorraine

Jean was born in 1488 in Of,Joinville,Haute-Marne,France. Jean's father was Rene II de Lorraine Duke of Lorraine and his mother was Philippa De Guelders. His paternal grandparents were Ferry II de Lorraine Count de Vaudemont and Yolanda , Duchess de Lorraine & Bar d'ANJOU; his maternal grandparents were Adolf Count of Guelders and Catherine Princess Of Bourbon. He had five brothers named Antoine "The Good", Duke Of, Ferri, Claude de Lorraine I Duke of, Louis De and Francois De. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 62 on May 10th, 1550.
