Joan de Valois of's father was Jean II Le Bon King of France and her mother was Joan Countess D'Auvergne.  Her paternal grandparents were Philip VI de Valois King of France and Joan of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents were William XII D'Auvergne and Marguerite D' Evreux. She had two sisters named Blanche Princess of and Catherine Princess of. She had four half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Charles V "le Sage" King Of, Louis I Duke of, Duc De Berry, Philippe II "Le Hardi" Prince of, Blanche, Catherine, Catherine De, Jeanne, Marie of, Agnes, Isabelle De, Marguerite and Isabel.  She died in 1373.
