Domingo was born on May 10th, 1724 in España. Domingo's father was Juan Bautista Eyzaguirre y Arcocha and his mother was Magdalena Escutasolo. His paternal grandparents were Pedro Lopez de Eyzaguirre y Eyzaguirre and Luisa de Arcocha; his maternal grandparents were Vicente de Escutasolo y Bascaran and Magdalena de Gandiaga. He was an only child.
