Walpurga of's father was Valdemar I Knudsen King of Denmark and her mother was Sofiya Vladimirovna Of Novgorod. Her maternal grandfather was Vladimir Rurikide Prince Novgorod. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Knut IV Valdemarsson King of, Valdemar II The Victorious King of, Sofia Princess of, Ingeborg and Rikisa.
