Williams: Antenor I, King of the Cimmerians on the Black Sea, died 443 B.C. He appears to be contemporary with the Greek historian, Herodotus, who
described the Cimmerians. Herodotus was born in Asia Minor about 484 B.C. and
was still living and writing as late as 409 B.C.
