Alan Boyd 
Alan was born about 1322 in of kilmarnock,Renfrew,Scotland. Alan's father was Sir Thomas , 2nd Baron of Kilmarnock Boyd and his mother was Miss Fleming. His paternal grandfather was Robert , 1st Baron of Kilmarnock Boyd. He had two brothers named James and Sir Robert , 3rd Baron of Kilmarnock. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in August 1339.
