Bartholomew was born about 1181 in Castle,Tong,Kent,England.1 Bartholomew's father was Bartholomew Badlesmere and his mother was Bartholomew-Mrs Badlesmere. He had a brother named William. He was the younger of the two children. He died in 1256.2 General Notes
