Adelheid of Are and Hostaden Countess

Adelheid of was born about 1150 in Are,Rhineland.  Adelheid of's father was Otto, Count Of Are and her mother was Adelheid Von HOCHSTADEN.  Her paternal grandfather was Theodoric Von Are; her maternal grandparents were Gerhard II HOCHSTADEN and Aleydis Von WICKRATH. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Theoderich I Von, Dietrich III, Heilwig, Countess Of and Salome Von.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died after 1227.

They had a son named Hermann II.
