Otto of I was born in 1170 in Merano,Bolzano,Italy. Otto of I's father was Berthold of III Andechs-Meranien Duke and his mother was Agnes Von Rochlitz GROITZSCH. His paternal grandparents were Berthold V Of Andechs and Hedwig of Wittlesbach Princess; his maternal grandparents were Dedo V Von Rochlitz GROITZSCH and Mathilde Von Heinsberg. He had three sisters named Hedwig of, Miss Princess of and Gertrude Countess Of. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 64 on May 7th, 1234.1 -
