Matilda was born about 1031 in FLANDERS, FRANCE.1 Matilda's father was the Pious Baldwin V Flanders Count of Flanders and her mother was Adela (Alix) CAPET Princess of France. Her paternal grandparents were Balwin IV Flanders of Flanders and Otgiva De Luxembourg. She was an only child. She died in November 1083 in Caen, Normandy.1 -
