Agnes was born in 1166 in Buckinghamshire,England.1 Agnes' father was Alberic II DAmmartin and her mother was Maud (Mathilde) of Clermont. Her paternal grandparents were Alberic I Dammartin and Clemence Of BAR-LE-DUC; her maternal grandparents were Renaud II de Clermont and Clemence Of BAR-LE-DUC. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Simon de Dammartin II , Count de Aumâle, Renaud de Dammartin, Raoul, Juliana, Alice and Clemence. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Simon de and Agnes de.General Notes
