LUDWIG I was born before 1136.¹   LUDWIG I's father was KONRAD von WURTTEMBURG and his mother was HADELWIG UNKNOWN.  His paternal grandmother was LUITGARD von WURTTEMBURG.  He was an only child.  He died in 1158.¹ 

He had a biological son named LUDWIG II COUNT.
