Ansoult II was born about 1250.¹ Ansoult II's father was Ansoult I de THOROTTE and his mother was Marie d'AUTHRECHES. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume de THOROTTE and Beatrice de BEAUMONT; his maternal grandparents were Guy I d'AUTHRECHES and Elizabeth d'ABBECOURT. He was an only child. He died in 1303.¹
