HARALD III KING was born in 1015.¹ HARALD III KING's father was SIGURD SOW HALFDANSSON and his mother was ASTRID (Asta de Ringerike) de UPLANDS. His paternal grandparents were HALFDAN SIGURDSSON and N.N. de GRENLAND; his maternal grandparents were GUDBRAND KULE de UPLANDS and GUNHILD (Ulfrida) THORASDOTTIR.
