John was born about 1230.1 John's father was Eustace II de MORTEYN and his mother was Hillary SILVEYN. His paternal grandparents were Eustace I de MORTEYN and Hillaria UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather was Richard SILVEYN. He was an only child. He died in 1284.1 
They had a son named John.
