JOAN "Fair Maid" COUNTESS was born on September 29th, 1328 in Woodstock, Kent, England.1   JOAN "Fair Maid" COUNTESS' father was EDMUND EARL de KENT de PLANTAGENET and her mother was MARGARET BARONESS de WAKE.  Her paternal grandparents were EDWARD I "Longshanks" KING de ENGLAND and MARGUERITE de FRANCE; her maternal grandparents were JOHN LORD de WAKE and JOANNA de FIENNES. She had two brothers and a sister, named Edmund, John and Margaret.  She died at the age of 56 on August 8th, 1385 in Wallingford Castle, Berkshire, England.1
