NICHOLAS was born about 1260 in Devon, Devonshire, England.1 NICHOLAS' father was WILLIAM de BONVILLE and his mother was UNKNOWN JOAN. His paternal grandparents were NICHOLAS de BONVILLE and UNKNOWN AMESIA. He was an only child. He died in 1295.1 
‌NICHOLAS and HAWISE (Matilda) were married in a religious ceremony about 1292 in Shute, Devonshire, England.1 They had a son named NICHOLAS.
