JAMES (Sir) was born about 1220 in Heleigh, Staffordshire, England.1   JAMES (Sir)'s father was HENRY (Sir) de AUDLEY and his mother was BERTRED MAINWARING.  His paternal grandparents were ADAM (Sir) de AUDLEY and EMMA FITZ RALPH; his maternal grandparents were RALPH (Sir) MAINWARING and AMICIA de MESCHINES. He had two sisters named EMMA and Alice*.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died on June 11th, 1272 in Ireland.1
