WILLIAM was born in 1136.¹   WILLIAM's father was HUGH de AUBERVILLE and his mother was UNKNOWN WYNANC.  His paternal grandfather was WILLIAM de AUBERVILLE.  He was an only child.

They had a son and a daughter, named HUGH and JOAN.
