GRUFFYDD was born about 1190.¹   GRUFFYDD's father was GWEN ap GRONWY.  His paternal grandfather was GRONWY ap EINION.  He was an only child.  GRUFFYDD is no longer alive.

He had a biological daughter named GWENHWYFAR.
