Hezekiah was born in 1723.1   Hezekiah's father was James WOOD and his mother was Grace THAYER.  His paternal grandparents were Ebenezer WOOD and Rachel NICHOLS. He had three brothers and two sisters, named James, Benjamin, Amos, Susannah and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the six children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Edward, Thomas, Grindal, Hezekiak, Stephen and Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 26 in 1749.1
