Jacques Cornelissen was born in 1640 in Canajoharie, Montgomery Co., New York.1 Jacques Cornelissen's father was Cornelis Antonissen Van Slyck and his mother was Ots-Toch (Alstock) Hartell. His paternal grandfather was Anton Van Slyck; his maternal grandparents were Jacques Hartell and Miss Mohawk Woman. He was an only child.
