Marie was born about 1576 in Colchester, Essex, England.¹ Marie's father was JOHN III TALCOTT and her mother was DOROTHY (ALICE) WELLS. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN II TALCOTT and MARIE (ELIZABETH); her maternal grandfather was JOHN WELLS.
