Sinclair McCary Suttle 
Sinclair McCary was born on August 30th, 1837 in Rockford, Coosa Co., AL.1 Sinclair McCary's father was Isaac Willis Suttle and his mother was Louisa McCary. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Suttle and Sarah Nancy Willis. He had a brother and five sisters, named George J., Sarah C., Mary Ann, Laura, Frances and Martha. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 74 on December 13th, 1911 in Coosa Co., AL. He was buried in Sears Chapel Methodist Ch. Cemetery, 1 mile n. THE CHRONICLE
Killed by Accident
"Just as we are closing our forms for this issue, news reached this
office that S. M. Suttle, an old and highly respected citizen of the
county, was killed Wednesday at the residence of Ernest Hatchett near
Richville in this county. The report is that he was chopping wood and a
piece broke off, struck him on the head producing almost instant
death."(1)
