Henry (Sir) "Red Horse" was born about 1560.¹ Henry (Sir) "Red Horse"'s father was Thomas (Esq) Slingsby and his mother was Joan (Johanna) Mallory. His paternal grandparents were John (Esq) Slingsby and Mariora Pooley; his maternal grandparents were John (Sir) Mallory and Margery Hastings. He was an only child. He died in 1634.¹
