Benjamin Harper Saxon 
Benjamin Harper was born on May 10th, 1772 in Laurens, SC.1 Benjamin Harper's father was Benjamin Saxon and his mother was Elizabeth Perry. He had a sister named Mary Ann Sarah. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 84 on July 28th, 1856 in Screven, GA.1 General Notes

MEMOIRS OF GEORGIA has biog. sketch of his grandson, Benjamin Richard
SAXON of Valdosta, GA, which says that Benjamin Harper SAXON was born in
Laurens Dist., SC on 10 May 1772, and was elected Sec. of State of SC on
18 Feb 1835.
Obit says d. 28 July 1856 in Screven Co., aged 84 yrs, 2 mo., and 18 days
[thus b. 10 May 1772!] and lived most of life in Abbeville Dist, SC. Came
to Screven 11 years before death [ca 1845].
