_UNKNMarried in Coosa County Courthouse, AL by Judge of Probate, J. A. Crawford.@@S726784@@Date of Import: Jul 31, 2003 [coosa1.ged] Family lore says that Jack rode up to the buggy of the family of James Kelly "Jim" Newberry when they were on their way to church and asked if Linnie Pearl could ride to church with him; instead of going to church they eloped. It should be note that Linnie fibbed about her age on the marriage license. She was not quite seventeen years old.
