Comment: Radney was 16 when he father left the family in Roby, TX. Radney
had to drop out of school to help support the family.
Comment (1): When Tack & Juanita married, they moved in with Mrs. Nail &
Lotus.
Radney died an early death after having seven major operations during the
period 1943-1951. During his lifetime, he was a mechanic, feed dealer
and radio repairman. He could repair "just about anything". Radney and
the Nail family were Methodist until he married Juanita and joined the
Baptist church with her. He was known as "Tack" since "he wasn't big
enough to be a Nail".
As a lad, Radney went with his father, Robert Henry, to Eden to visit
Radney's cousins.
‌Radney Harmon and
Helen were married in a religious ceremony on July 27th, 1925 in
Olton, Lamb Co., TX.
1 They had a son and two daughters, named
Living,
Marion Louise and
Living.

Rev. Gilbert of the Methodist Church performed the ceremony. Witnesses
were Inez Metcalf and Mae Parker., son of ROBERT NAIL and MARY OVERSTREET.
