Estle was born on November 3rd, 1894.1   Estle's father was John A. McCalla and his mother was Lucinda "Linda" Falconer.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas McCalla and Catherine Zehner. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hobart Lee, Earl Fred and Myrtle May.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Maynard Emanuel, Lewis R., John E., Fremont W., Clyde Eathen, Alberty and Druzzilla Annette.  He died at the age of 1 on June 30th, 1896.1
