David McCalla

David was born on October 13th, 1835.¹ David's father was Thomas McCalla and his mother was Catherine Zehner. His maternal grandparents were Peter Adam Zehner and Magdalena Flexor. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Simon, Isaac, Elias, Bemjamin, John A., Mary Ann, Martha and Rebecca. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 19 on May 17th, 1855.¹
