Daniel Ledbetter 
Daniel was born on February 14th, 1757 in Townville, Anderson Co., SC.1 Daniel's father was Henry Ledbetter and his mother was Edy Clark. His paternal grandparents were John Ledbetter and Frances Tedstall. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joel, Prudence and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 69 on January 20th, 1827 in Townville, Anderson Co., SC.1 General Notes

In a deed Daniel Ledbetter is called "Planter." He remained in Anderson
County where he died and his will was probated in 1827. For the most
part, his descendants today live in or near Anderson, S. C.
