EDMUND was born about 1075.¹   EDMUND's father was ALFRED KNYVETT and his mother was UNKNOWN GUNDREDA.  His paternal grandfather was OTOMAR KNYVETT; his maternal grandfather was UNKNOWN RALPH.  He was an only child.

They had a son named DRUGO.
