Joseph Henry was born on July 15th, 1866 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.1 Joseph Henry's father was William James KELSON and his mother was Mary Ann PURCELL. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM KELSON and HANNAH JEFFRIES; his maternal grandparents were James PURCELL and Catherine FISHER. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William James, John Hezikiah, George Albert, Francis Hyrum, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 65 on December 1st, 1931 in Elko, Elko Co., Nevada.1 -
