They were re-married under the old Cherokee Law to help Caldonia establish her Indian heritage, she was allotted 120 acres 2 and 1/2 miles west of White Oak. Roe later married Stella Lewis in 1923. The original allotment known as the home place is still in the family. Lester,Dewey, and Hatty still retain their individual allotments of Indian land which is connected to their mother's allotment.
