Caldonia Jones 
Caldonia was born about 1870 in Carroll Co. AR.1 Caldonia's father was Martin Jackson Jones and her mother was Lucy "Fannie" Witherspoon. Her paternal grandparents were William* Jones and Unknown ????. She had a brother and two sisters, named Theodore, Elizabeth and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the four children.General Notes

Notes for CALDONIA JONES:
In 1891 Roe and Caldonia came to Cherokee Nation I.T. with only a team
and wagon and Caldonia had a sewing machine their only household
possession . They were re-married under the old Cherokee Law to help
Caldonia establish her Indian heritage, she was allotted 120 acres 2 and
1/2 miles west of White Oak. Roe later married Stella Lewis in 1923. The
original allotment known as the home place is still in the family.
Lester,Dewey, and Hatty still retain their individual allotments of
Indian land which is connected to their mother's allotment. (Cherokee
