Joseph was born on December 31st, 1609 in Bradford, West Riding, Yorkshire, England.1 Joseph's father was EDWARD JEWETT and his mother was MARY TAYLOR. His paternal grandfather was THOMAS JEWETT; his maternal grandparents were WILLIAM TAYLOR and SARAH ROGERS. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, MAXIMILIAN, Josiah, Grace, Mary, Sarah and Isabell. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died in Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 -
