JOHN VOWELL was born about 1448.¹   JOHN VOWELL's father was JAGO (Vowell) VOELL and his mother was ALICE HOOKER.  His paternal grandfather was GERAPH (Gevaph) VOELL; his maternal grandfather was RICHARD HOOKER.  He was an only child.

He had a biological son named ROBERT VOWELL.
