Purl Gongwer

Purl was born on June 4th, 1880.¹ Purl's father was John Gongwer and her mother was Katherine Ann Swartz. Her maternal grandparents were Abraham II Swartz and Caroline Balliet. She had two brothers and a sister, named Ira, Guy and Iva.
