JOHN GREGORY

JOHN was born in 1548 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.¹ JOHN's father was THOMAS GREGORY and his mother was DOROTHY BEESTON. His paternal grandparents were HUGO (Hugh) GREGORY and MARIA (Mary); his maternal grandparents were GEORGE BEESTON and ALICIAM (Alice) DAVENPORT. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thomas, Henry and Dorothy. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 89 on July 29th, 1637 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Conneticut.¹
