WILLIAM X (Sir) was born about 1398 in Gawthorpe, Yorkshire, England.¹ WILLIAM X (Sir)'s father was WILLIAM IX (Sir) GASCOIGNE and his mother was JOAN (Jane) WYMAN. His paternal grandparents were WILLIAM VIII GASCOIGNE and ELIZABETH MOWBRAY; his maternal grandparents were HENRY WYMAN and AGNES de BARDEN.
