1867: On July 5, PARMENCO CLAYLOS HARDING married CORNELIA BLAKEY FOSTER,
who was his first cousin. He subsequently married FLORENCE CORNELIA
GARDNER 13 Dec 1896. The following November 17th, his brother, PHILLIP A.
HARDING, married SARAH WILLIS at Marshall Co., MS. PARMENCO HARDING’s
second wife was FLORENCE CORNELIA GARDNER, whom he married 13 Dec 1896.
One source states that they were married in Spotsylvania Co., VA
From a newspaper clipping:
"In Washington city, D. C., on Monday, July 8th, by Rev. Mr. Smith,
Pastor of Presbyterian Church. PADL C. HARDING to Miss C. Foster,
daughter of Wm. E. Foster, all of Spotsylvania county, Va." Note:
Parmenco's name was spelt in all caps. PADL is how his first name is
