Thomas was born about 1422 in Rycote, Oxfotrdshire, England.1 Thomas' father was WILLIAM (Sir) FOWLER and his mother was CECILY ENGLEFIELD. His paternal grandparents were HENRY FOWLER and ISABEL BARTON; his maternal grandparents were NICHOLAS ENGLEFIELD and JOANE RYCOTE. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Walter, Henry, WILLIAM, Cecilia, Sybil, Alice and Jane. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
