"Miss Evlyne Cleghorn Wed To Jasper Dobson
The marriage of Miss Evlyne Cleghorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Acker Cleghorn, of Sylacauga, and Jasper Adair Dobson, USN, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Jasper Neuton Dobson, of Rockford, Ala., took place Feb. 12,
with Judge Winston Stewart performing the ceremony at his home. Mrs. John
Felix Stone was matron of honor, and Ralph G. Dodson, of Gadsden, served
his brother as best man.
Relatives present included Mrs. Wallace Boaz, of Anniston; Mrs. Ezra
Bussie and Mrs. Stone. After a wedding trip Mrs. Dodson will be at home
with her parents in Sylacauga, and her husband will return to his post in
Philadelphia.”

"Jasper Adair Dobson, WT 1-c, better known to his friends as "Jack," is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Dobson of Hanover. He enlisted in the Navy
Sept. 28, 1942 and was sent to San Diego for his boot training, and made
two voyages overseas on the Aircraft Carrier Altamaha. He is the husband
of Evelyne Cleghorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Cleghorn of
