Eystein* I King was born about 0736.1   Eystein* I King's father was Halfdan* I "White Leg" King De Uplands and his mother was Asa* De Throndheim.  His paternal grandparents were Olaf* "Tree Hewer" King De Vermaland and Solveig* Hafdansdottir; his maternal grandparents were Eystein* "The Severe" King De Uplands and Solveig* Halfdansson.  He was an only child.  He died in 0780.1
