Eufemia*'s father was Pulcherie* De Rome and her mother was Marcian* De Rome.  Her paternal grandparents were Flavius* Arcadius Emperor De Rome and Eudoxie* De Konstantinople.  She was an only child.

They had a daughter named Alypia*.
