Geoffrey* I Vicomte was born about 1126 in Rohan, Brittany, France.¹   Geoffrey* I Vicomte's father was Eudes* I Vicomte De Porhoet and his mother was Anne* De Leon.  His paternal grandfather was Josceline* I Vicomte De Porhoet. He had a brother named Alain I.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died in 1142.¹ 

‌Geoffrey* I Vicomte and Hawise* were married in a religious ceremony about 1156.¹   They had two sons named Alan* I and EUDES II COUNT.
