Ethelred* Earl was born in 0865 in Mercia, England.¹   Ethelred* Earl's father was Hugh* "The Great" Earl De Mercia and his mother was UNKNOWN ??.  His paternal grandparents were Leofric* Earl De Mercia and UNKNOWN ??.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 47 in 0912.¹ 

‌Ethelred* Earl and Ethelfleda* were married in a religious ceremony in 0886.¹   They had a daughter named Elwina* Lady.
